Rival activist groups plan to demonstrate in Kilkenny Feb. 12 over Ireland's immigration policy. Anti-migrant activists will assemble outside the County Council Offices on John's Street from 14:30; pro-migrant activists will stage a counterdemonstration at the same location from 14:00. It remains unclear how many participants the two events may draw.

Additional police will deploy to monitor the actions and keep rival activist groups apart.
