Armed clashes broke out between two rival militias in the Jinan Attia area of Al-Ajyaylat, located about 80 km (50 miles) west of Tripoli, on Feb. 21. Local emergency personnel has instructed residents to avoid areas of the city impacted by the fighting, remain home, and refrain from using major thoroughfares until the clashes abate.
