Unionized workers from multiple industries are protesting outside Fort Railway Station in Colombo the afternoon of Feb. 22. Attendees from the ports, aviation, utilities, education, health, and financial sectors are demanding better salaries and improved working conditions. Hundreds of people are participating in the gathering.
