Canada: Authorities close terminal building at St. John's International Airport due to fire late March 24

Authorities evacuated and closed the main terminal at St. John's International Airport (YYT) around 23:30 March 24 after a fire broke out in the building. Emergency personnel were able to contain the fire and no injuries occurred. It is unclear when the main terminal will reopen. Flight disruptions are possible March 25.
