The first incident occurred at about 14:30 when a train operated by Aare Seeland Mobil jumped the track near Luscherz while en route to Biel; the second occurred when the Bern-Solothurn Regional train derailed near Buren zum Hof station. Emergency crews have responded to the incident sites. Rail traffic has been temporarily suspended along the affected sections of track, with replacement buses operating instead.
