Nepal authorities are maintaining COVID-19 measures as of April 6.

Domestic Restrictions
Transport services and retail businesses are operational with social distancing rules. Nationwide rules limit entry to recreational facilities, government offices, and domestic flights to fully vaccinated individuals. Unvaccinated foreigners may access airports. People must adhere to social distancing rules in public places and on public transport, though enforcement and adherence are generally poor.

International Travel Restrictions
International passenger flights and land checkpoints are operational. International arrivals above five years old entering via air or land routes must submit negative results of a COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours before departure, or a vaccination certificate. International passengers do not need to quarantine; officials may require symptomatic entrants to undergo on-arrival rapid antigen testing and quarantine if positive results are returned.

Foreign nationals who are fully vaccinated or have a negative COVID-19 test result may obtain an on-arrival visa at entry points; however, the measure will not apply to citizens of Afghanistan, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ghana, Iraq, Liberia, Palestine, Nigeria, Somalia, Swaziland, and Syria.
