South Africa: EFF to protest in Pretoria on April 4

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) plan to demonstrate outside the Uganda High Commission at 882 Stanza Bopape Street in Pretoria from 10:00 April 4. The action has been called to support the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ+) community in Uganda and to denounce the recent passing of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation by the Ugandan Parliament on March 21. Dozens of people are likely to attend the event.

Officials will likely deploy security personnel to monitor the gathering. Some localized road travel delays are possible in the vicinity.
