Authorities have announced the suspension of all flights at Misrata International Airport (MRA) from May 13-27 due to maintenance on the runway. All flights are expected to be diverted to Mitiga International Airport (MJI) in Tripoli until maintenance is completed.
Disruptions to flights are possible immediately prior to the May 13 start and after the completion of the repairs. The maintenance schedule could either be shortened or extended at short notice. Some changes to flight schedules are possible at MJI for the duration of the operation at MRA. Increased road traffic is possible between Misrata and Tripoli.
