Event

The Nigerien government has removed all COVID-19-related travel restrictions effective June 26. Travelers were previously required to present either a negative result from a PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before arrival or proof of full vaccination; both requirements have been lifted.

Domestic Measures
Public transportation and businesses, including taxis, restaurants, cafes, markets, and sporting events, can operate at full capacity. Public service offices and health clinics may require the use of a facemask. Authorities encourage anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 to use protective measures to mitigate its spread.

Authorities could amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
