The "Serbia Against Violence" (Srbija protiv nasilja) organization is protesting in Belgrade on the evening of June 9 to denounce two recent mass shootings in Serbia. Participants gathered in front of the National Assembly, where speeches took place, before marching along a 3 km (1.8 miles) circuit in the city center to the government building. This is the sixth demonstration in recent weeks to demand a stop to the promotion of violence in Serbian media and the resignation of the government ministers involved in the country's security.

The event is attracting several thousand people; and increased law enforcement. Clashes between demonstrators and police cannot be ruled out. Transport disruptions are likely to continue near the demonstration.
