Political activists are protesting outside of the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) headquarters in Kinshasa during the afternoon of July 21. The demonstrators are calling for the release of Salomon Kalonda and Mike Mukebayi, who are members of the opposition Together for the Republic party. Protesters are also demanding an investigation into the assassination of an opposition party deputy.
