As of the afternoon of July 4, security forces are removing roadblocks from several thoroughfares throughout the Navolato Municipality, Sinaloa State. Reports indicate that criminal organizations allegedly emplaced the roadblocks following a security operation to capture Nestor Isidro Garcia "El Nini" in El Tamarindo, Villa Ángel Flores. At least five roadblocks are reported at the entrance and exit of La Palma, Caseta La Platanera, and Caseta San Blas. No clashes between security forces and criminal groups have as yet been reported.

Authorities will almost certainly maintain an increased security presence in Navaloto. The roadblocks will continue to prompt localized transport disruptions throughout the impacted area. Clashes between criminal groups and security forces cannot be ruled out.
