As of July 20, Serbian authorities have issued states of emergency (SoE) in the northwestern towns of Sremska Mitrovica, Sid, and Ruma due to damage caused by severe weather during the night of July 19-20. At least 40 people were reported injured during the storms, in addition to damage done to property and utilities infrastructure.

Localized transport, business, and utilities disruptions are likely over the coming days as crews repair damage and restore services to affected areas.
