UK: Unionized airport ground staff cancel planned strike at Gatwick Airport, as of July 26 /update 1

Unionized ground staff and baggage handlers represented by the Unite labor union have canceled industrial action planned at London Gatwick Airport (LGW), as of July 26. The action had been planned for July 28-Aug. 1. Workers for DHL, GGS, and Menzies Aviation have either canceled or suspended their planned strikes, following an increased pay offer by employers. ASC employees have not canceled their planned strike, however they are continuing to negotiate a settlement, and their action alone will have significantly reduced impact.
