Electrical failures are causing railway delays and cancellations in France's northern Hauts-de-France region on Aug. 24. Rail services have been suspended on the line between Creil and Amiens, as well as the line between Compiegne and Tergnier. France's national railway network operator (SNCF) reports that these disruptions are causing delays and cancellations throughout the region. Additionally, at least one train scheduled to depart for the region from Paris' Gare du Nord has been canceled. The SNCF states traffic will resume from 16:30 on Aug. 24.

Repair operations are ongoing; lingering transport rail disruptions are likely through Aug. 24.
