Authorities plan to dispose of an unexploded World War II-era bomb in Lublin on Aug. 11. The device was uncovered at a construction site on Wronska Street. Authorities have established an evacuation zone with a radius of 800 meters (875 yards) around the location of the bomb. The main rail line through Lublin will be temporarily suspended. Around 14,000 residents are being evacuated, and local bus routes will be disrupted. Authorities plan to start the operation at 11:30, and it is expected to last around two hours.

Traffic and business disruptions within the affected area will likely continue for several hours after disposal technicians complete their work.
