Emergency crews are continuing their response to a structure fire in the Bow neighborhood of East London as of 19:00 Aug. 25; the blaze broke out on the roof of a building housing several businesses near the intersection of Fairfield and Bow roads; the building has been evacuated. There have as yet been no reports of casualties.
Authorities have cordoned off the area and a large number of emergency responders remain at the scene. Localized disruptions and emergency responder presence may linger after the fire is extinguished. Heavy smoke is possible in the incident area.
