UK: Supporters of Imran Khan to protest in London, Aug. 5

Supporters of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) leader, Imran Khan, plan to protest outside of the High Commission for Pakistan in London from 16:00 Aug. 5. The action is in reaction to the sentencing and arrest of Khan in Pakistan earlier in the day. Dozens to a few hundred people are likely to participate in the action.

Security forces will likely deploy to monitor the action. Some localized ground travel delays are likely near the protest site. Significant acts of violence are unlikely.
