UK: Unionized ground staff at Gatwick Airport call-off strikes scheduled for Aug. 25-28 /update 2

Ground staff and baggage handlers represented by the Unite labor union canceled strikes at London Gatwick Airport (LGW) originally slated for Aug. 25-28. On Aug. 24, the union accepted a new salary offer from the employers James Wilson and Red Handling, which service Norse Atlantic Airways (N0), Norse Atlantic UK (Z0), Norwegian Air Norway (DH), Delta Air Lines (DL), TAP Air Portugal (TP) and Saudia (SV).

There is currently no further industrial action planned at LGW. Residual disruptions due to previously announced strikes are possible.
