Authorities have confirmed that an earlier explosion at Goma's Unity Stadium that left one dead and 11 others injured on the evening of Sept. 28 was caused by a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG); at least one military soldier was among the victims. Authorities have stated the incident was caused when an RPG accidentally discharged from the back of an army vehicle while footballers and spectators were utilizing the field.
