Emergency crews are responding to a warehouse fire in Monte delle Capre, in the Trullo area of Rome, the morning of Sept. 2. The fire broke out at about 09:00 in an industrial park that includes a gym, a fabric warehouse, and a windows and doors store. The cause of the fire is not immediately clear. There have been no reports of casualties. Authorities have closed streets in the vicinity to facilitate the emergency response, and have warned residents to keep their windows and doors closed due to the smoke.

Heightened security, as well as localized transport and business disruptions, are likely near the affected area. Officials may mandate building evacuations in the vicinity as a precaution until response and investigations end.
