Further student protests are likely in the coming days at the University of Venda's campus in Thohoyandou, Limpopo Province, as of Sept. 13. The protest began Sept. 10 over the delayed payment of student scholarships, among other issues. On Sept. 13, reports indicate students barricaded entrances to the campus, and at least two police vehicles were torched during clashes.
