Activists plan to demonstrate against a conference of far-right groups in Sopron, Oct. 7. A number of European far-right groups will attend a conference in Sopron Oct. 6-8, led by an Austrian campaigner Gerd Honsik. Protesters against the conference will gather at 14:00 Oct. 7 at Papret in the town. It is not known how many people will participate in the event.
Heightened security and localized transportation disruptions are likely in central Sopron and may linger for several hours after the end of the event. Skirmishes between demonstrators and attendees at the conference cannot be ruled out.

Avoid the affected area as a standard precaution. Allow additional time if traveling in Sopron. Strictly heed all instructions from law enforcement officers. Immediately depart the area at the first sign that any security disturbance may occur.
