Activists plan to protest at Republic Square (Trg Republike) in Ljubljana from 15:00 Oct. 18 to demand improved government support for retirees. Participants will rally at Republic Square, march to the Government of Slovenia building, then return to Republic Square. It is unclear how many participants may attend; however, at least 25 demonstrators will camp at the square overnight.
Heightened security and localized transport disruptions are likely near the demonstration site and the march route.
