Activists to hold protest march in Escaldes-Engordany and Andorra la Vella from 19:30 Dec. 8. Transport disruptions likely.
Activists plan to hold a protest march through Escaldes-Engordany and Andorra la Vella on Dec. 9 to demand access to adequate affordable housing. Participants will assemble at Placa Coprinceps at 19:30 before marching to Placa Mestre Joan Roure. The route will follow Carlemany Avenue, Meritxell Avenue, Prat de la Creu Street, Bonaventura Armengol Street, and De La Borda Street. It is unclear how many participants may attend.
Heightened security and localized transport disruptions are possible along the march route. Though unlikely, low-level confrontations between protesters and law enforcement officers or frustrated motorists cannot be ruled out.
