Most incidents target security forces, government offices, or individuals and organizations supporting the military. Additional blasts are likely. Pro-regime, as well as pro-democracy demonstrations related to the ongoing escalation of armed clashes between ethnic armed organizations (EAOs) in the north and west of Myanmar and associated clashes between protesters and security personnel could increase in frequency over the coming months.
