Authorities to close Trabzon Airport in Trabzon, Turkiye, 10:00-16:00 Dec. 15 for runway maintenance. Twelve flights canceled.
Authorities plan to close Trabzon Airport (TZX) from 10:00-16:00 Dec. 15 for runway maintenance. The closure has prompted Turkish Airlines (TK) to cancel four flights and its low-cost subsidiary AnadoluJet (TK) to cancel eight flights for the impacted time frame.
Flight disruptions may linger for several hours after airport operations resume as carriers reposition aircraft and work through their passenger backlogs.
Contact air travel provider to reconfirm flight schedules if booked to fly via TZX Dec. 15. Do not check out of accommodations until onward travel is confirmed.
