Activists associated with the Yellow Vests (Gilets Jaunes) movement plan to stage a protest march in Paris Jan. 13. The purpose of the demonstration is to call for a referendum to leave the EU and NATO, improved social and fiscal justice, and an end to alleged state violence, among other demands. Protest participants will gather at Place de la Nation at 13:30 and march at 14:30 toward the intersection of Boulevard Ornano and Rue Belliard via Avenue Philippe Auguste, Boulevard de Menilmontant, Boulevard de la Villette, Boulevard de la Chapelle, Rue Marx Dormoy, Rue Ordener, and Boulevard Ornano. The number of people that may participate in the march was not immediately clear.
