Local reports suggest that the incident took place early Jan. 27 inside a residence in the town of Sirkan, Sistan and Baluchestan Province; the nationalities of the victims remain unclear. No group has claimed responsibility for the incident.

Sirkan is approximately 350 km (218 miles) southeast of Zahedan.
