Mexico: Leftist activists march from Monumento a la Revolucion to Ministry of Interior in downtown Mexico City Jan. 30

Activists affiliated with People's Revolutionary Front (Frente Popular Revolucionario, FPR) are marching from Monumento a la Revolucion to the Ministry of the Interior in Mexico City on Jan. 30 to demand the government respect the rights of Mexican people. Traffic disruptions are occurring in the area.

Although the action will probably remain largely peaceful, authorities will likely maintain an increased security presence near the impacted area and along the march route as a precaution. Transport and business disruptions are likely along the march route for the duration of the demonstration.
