A disruptive protest is ongoing along Boulevard de 30 Juin near the Building ex-Sozacom and Commission Electorale Nationale Independante (CENI) offices in Kinshasa, Deb. 10. Demonstrators have reportedly burnt tires in the area. They are demanding the departure of US government interests in the country.
Heightened security is likely in the area in the coming hours. Disruptions to road travel are likely. Access to nearby buildings may be restricted.
