Chile: Officials to implement daily overnight curfew in Quilpue and Vina del Mar areas of Valparaiso March 8-13 following wildfires

Authorities have issued a curfew order for parts of Quilpue and Vina del Mar in the Valparaiso area March 8-13 due to recent damage from wildfires. The curfew is in effect from 23:59 to 05:00 daily; non-essential movement will be limited during the curfew hours.

Quilpue:

• Pompeya Sur

• Poblacion Argentina

Vina del Mar:

• Poblacion Manuel Bustos

• Los Almendros

• Villa Independencia

• Monte Sinai

• Las Pataguas

• Naciones Unidas

• El Dorado

A heightened emergency personnel presence will be likely in the affected areas. Disruptions to road travel and business operations are likely during curfew periods.
