Participants initially gathered on Avenida Insurgentes before marching toward Tixtla. It is unclear where the march will end. Thousands are reportedly participating in the march.

Increased security and localized transport and business disruptions are almost certain throughout the demonstration. Additional clashes and acts of vandalism are possible.
