Poland: Authorities responding after vehicle strikes 17 pedestrians in Szczecin March 1

Police are responding at Plac Rodla in Szczecin as of afternoon March 1 after a vehicle struck a group of pedestrians. At least 17 individuals were injured as a result of the incident; the driver was arrested after attempting to flee the scene. It was not immediately clear whether the incident was a vehicular accident or an attack. Authorities asked the public to avoid the area.
