As of April 10, authorities have lifted curfew orders in the Sunsari District of Nepal, including in the Harinagar, Bhokraha Narsingh, Dewanganj, Koshi rural municipalities and the Inaruwa Municipality. Despite removing the curfew, officials will likely maintain gathering and procession bans due to the risk of potential protests and clashes reemerging between rival groups. The curfew was initially installed in early April after clashes between student groups.
