Emirates (EK) has temporarily suspended check-in for all customers with onward connections through Dubai until 03:59 April 20. Passengers traveling to Dubai as their final destination can check-in and travel as usual. The measure comes after the airline and its hub, Dubai International Airport (DXB), struggles to clear a backlog of flights after the UAE witnessed its heaviest rains on record.
