Firefighters are responding to a large fire at a warehouse in the Carmen Lyra area of Barranca, Puntarenas, as of the evening of Aug. 20. The cause of the blaze is not immediately clear, but large quantities of diesel fuel stored onsite are reportedly exacerbating the situation. There are no immediate reports of casualties.
