Flight cancellations are affecting Cathay Pacific (CX) flights via Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) as of Sept. 3. CX has grounded its fleet of Airbus A350 following the discovery of an engine component failure requiring repairs. While the airline expects all affected aircraft to resume normal operations by Sept. 7, disruptions are likely through Sept. 7. CX has confirmed flight cancellations through Sept 5.
