Mexico: Activists to march in Chilpancingo, Guerrero State, from 11:00 Sept. 18. Disruptions likely
Activists to protest march from Nicolas Bravo Monument to Parador del Marques Hotel in Chilpancingo, Mexico, from 11:00 Sept. 18.
Activists from Ayotzinapa will hold a protest march in Chilpancingo, Guerrero, on Sept. 18. The action is for the parents affected by the 2014 Iguala mass student kidnapping to demand justice from the authorities. Participants will gather from 11:00 at Nicolas Bravo Monument (Glorieta el Caballito) before marching to the Parador del Marques Hotel. Hundreds will likely attend.
Increased security, localized transport, and business disruptions are highly likely throughout the demonstration. Clashes and acts of vandalism cannot be ruled out.
Avoid the demonstration and strictly heed instructions of authorities if operating in the impacted area on Sept. 18.
