South Korea: Climate activists to hold rally in Gangnam District, Seoul, Sept. 7

Climate activists plan to march along Teheran-ro in Gangnam District in Seoul Sept. 7 as part of the 907 Climate Justice March campaign. Participants from over 500 civic groups will gather at the Gangnam Station intersection from 13:00 before heading to Samseong Station at 16:10. Organizers claim that around 20,000 people will attend the event.

Traffic restrictions, including security cordons and road closures, are probable along Teheran-ro. Increased traffic congestion is likely on alternative routes.
