Pakistan: Activists to stage protest march in Karachi, Oct. 13

Activists plan to hold a protest march from Teen Talwar to the Karachi Press Club in Karachi from 15:00 on Oct. 13 to denounce alleged religious extremism in the Sindh Province. More than a thousand participants are likely to attend.

Heightened security and localized transport disruptions are likely along the march route and near protest sites. Clashes between police, activists, and ideologically opposed groups cannot be ruled out. Associated business disruptions are possible.
