Activists plan to protest near Maison de Hongrie located at Rue de la Loi 9 in central Brussels from 18:00 Nov. 13. The action is in opposition to the scheduled presence at the site of Jordan Bardella, leader of the French National Rally party. Bardella will present his newly published book. Several left-wing groups are set to attend the protest. Dozens to a few hundred people will likely participate in the action which coincides with a farmer's protest due to start the morning of Nov. 13 in the same area.
Authorities will likely deploy increased security to monitor the protest. Road travel and transport disruptions are likely across central Brussels through Nov. 13. Limited confrontations between demonstrators and law enforcement officers are possible.
Avoid any demonstrations as a routine security precaution and to mitigate associated disruptions. Heed instructions from law enforcement officers. Allow extra time to reach nearby destinations. Immediately leave the area at the first signs of confrontation.
