Authorities plan to dispose of an unexploded World War II bomb near Willakedamm in Huchting District, Bremen, from 14:00 Nov. 27. Starting from 10:00, officials will enforce a 300-meter (328-yard) cordon within which all buildings are to be evacuated and traffic restricted. Beyond this, authorities will implement a 500-meter (547-yard) shelter-in-place area within which residents may not depart buildings. The intended duration of the operation was not immediately clear.

Heightened security will likely affect Huchting District for the duration of the operation and will likely linger into the evening hours. Associated localized travel disruptions are probable.

Consider taking alternate routes to reduce travel delays if traveling through Bremen Nov. 27. Allow additional time for travel near the operation site. Strictly heed all instructions from authorities.
