Delays to S-Bahn rail services will likely persist through the early afternoon in central Berlin on Nov. 27 following an earlier fire onboard a train at Bellvue Station. Emergency crews quickly responded to the fire, extinguishing it without injuries and arresting one person. The fire occurred aboard an S-Bahn service on the S7 line.

Disruptions will likely persist at Bellevue Station while salvage operations and investigations take place. Disruptions are also being reported on the S3, S5, S7, and S9 lines between the Friedrichstrasse and Tiergarten stations. Rail delays could prompt an increased demand for alternative transport options, including taxis.
