Unionized welfare workers plan to protest at the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family Affairs on Dragatsaniou in Athens from 11:00 Nov. 26. The purpose of the demonstration is to demand strengthened employment possibilities for contract workers, and coincides with a nationwide strike. It was not immediately clear how many participants planned to attend.
Law enforcement officers will likely deploy near the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family Affairs to facilitate the gathering.
