As of the evening of Nov. 8, activists are blocking the Varadin Bridge in Novi Sad to protest the recent collapse of a railway station structure that killed 14 people. The demonstration is expected to continue until at least 00:01 Nov. 9. Police have deployed to the area and arrested at least two protesters. Preliminary reports indicate several hundred participants are attending the event.
