South Korea: Protest reported outside the National Assembly building in Seoul late Dec. 3

Protestors are demonstrating outside National Assembly building, Seoul, South Korea, against the declaration of Martial Law late Dec. 3.

Warning

Protestors have been reported outside the National Assembly building in Seoul following the announcement of Martial Law by President Yoon on late Dec. 3. Initial reports indicate police officers have blocked off the building and are prohibiting the entrance of any non-political figure. Helicopters have been spotted heading to the building, with minimal information as to the reason.

Authorities will likely maintain increased security around the building to prevent any demonstrators from entering the premises. Clashes between police officers and protestors cannot be ruled out. Localized transport disruptions are likely.
