Protests planned in multiple cities in the UK, Dec. 7, to denounce nuclear escalation in Ukraine. Increased security, disruptions likely.
Activist groups, including the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament and the Stop the War Coalition, plan to protest in several cities on Dec. 7. The organizers are denouncing the perceived escalation of the threat of nuclear war following the US, UK, and France allowing Ukraine to use Western-supplied missiles against targets in Russia and Moscow's resultant use of an intermediate-range ballistic missile against a target in Ukraine. Manchester: Rally in Saint Peter's Square at 15:00.
Plymouth: Rally at the Sundial on Armada Way at 12:00.
