Students and political activists plan to rally in front of Belgrade's Constitutional Court on King Alexander Boulevard from 16:00 Jan. 12. The action aims to denounce the students' dissatisfaction with the investigations regarding a previous incident affecting university students. Student organizations have also called for trade unions to participate. Several hundred to the low thousand participants could attend.
Authorities will likely deploy increased security to monitor the rally. Localized road travel and transport disruptions are likely near King Alexander Boulevard through the afternoon of Jan. 12. Limited confrontations between participants and law enforcement officers cannot be excluded.
