Allo Tedla - Intelligence Analyst IV
Allo Tedla is a U.S.-based Regional Intelligence Analyst. In this role, he monitors related events and developments in Eastern and Horn of Africa region for alerting and analysis; drafts concise and accurate intelligence; and provides peer support for other African or global regions. He joined Crisis-24 in 2019, and holds multiple degrees: a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution and Peaceful Coexistence from Brandeis University, a Graduate Diploma in Diplomacy and International Policy from the University of Staffordshire, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Prior to joining Crisis24, Allo worked as an Eritrean diplomat in bilateral and multilateral settings for 16 years. He served as 1st Secretary in the Permanent Mission of Eritrea to the African Union, and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa. While he was in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Eritrea, he held several roles, including as a senior researcher at the Department of Research. Allo is most interested in peace and security issues in Eastern and the Horn of Africa.
